Our Story
"Tre Picchi"
I wanted everyone to experience the wonderful taste of the simple yet deeply satisfying home-cooked Italian meals I enjoyed at my husband Andrea’s family home in Ancona, a coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. While I was preparing to open my shop, my child told me a story about three woodpeckers (Tre Picchi). The story was about a mother woodpecker diligently bringing food for her babies. Inspired by this heartwarming tale, I decided to name my shop 'Tre Picchi.' You'll find three woodpeckers hidden throughout the shop. Please look for them when you visit!

At Tre Picchi, we offer a variety of home-style Italian dishes made with seasonal vegetables and other carefully selected ingredients, prepared with the care of a family meal.
The hometown of my husband, Andrea, is Ancona, a beautiful port city in the Marche region of central Italy, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. This region is blessed with an abundance of fresh seafood and, inland, the land yields a rich variety of truffles, mushrooms, and game, creating a diverse culinary culture. With Ancona in mind, we invite you to savor our hearty Italian home cooking.
